This is not just any party... it's a Quokka Birthday! This recurring event, held annually in September on Rottnest Island, celebrates the period that adorable Quokka joeys start to appear on the Island, peeping out of their mum's pouches throughout winter and come spring., they're ready to ready to hop out into the big wide world. The digital team asked us to help them promote the month long celebrations with digital activity.

The Challenge


We were tasked with creating a strategic paid advertising campaign that boosted registration for the event on the 19th September and also increased day-trip visitation over the Spring period. We also needed to promote ferry and admission offers.


What We Did
